In her remarkable poem at the Biden inauguration, the Youth Poet Laureate, Amanda Gorman, stated, “There is always light, if we are only brave enough to see it.  If only we are brave enough to be it.”  If we are to effect real change in our lives and in the world, we must be brave enough to do both.

In the midst of the medical, economic, and social unrest we have been experiencing for the last year, it can be easy to fall off course.  Easy to forget that there is always light, for God is always present.  This Sunday, we will look at the last four of the Twelve Powers: Understanding, Zeal, Order, and Life, and examine how, through employing these divine faculties, we build our courage and create a better life for ourselves, helping, in turn, to heal the world.
