On Monday, I held my two-month-old niece for the first time and hugged my 82-year-old mother for the first time in over a year. What a precious day it was! The year that preceded this moment has not been easy for any of us. Here we are, ready for the next chapter of lives that ave felt on hold.
That new baby I held, and the mom I hugged, know nothing of this year. They live in the moment, unencumbered by the fears that we have taken in and moved through. The truth is that our lives were not on hold; our lives moved on, my kids grew older, and so did we. We made this year what it was for us, and now we get to do that again. We get to choose and make this coming year precicesly what we want it to be; no matter what happens in the world, the most important thing is what happens in us.
Join us this Sunday as I talk about, The Life I Choose!
Namaste,
