Optimal Livestream Settings
We are thrilled to welcome you to our virtual community
In order to guarantee the best viewing experience of our interactive livestream, please use this guide to ensure that your browser’s settings are optimized.
If using the Spiritual Zoom Room
All browsers, all devices
- Please enable pop-ups, as our interactive service links will open in a new window. The instructions below detail how to set up your specific browser to enable pop-ups.
- Please click on the button entitled “Spiritual Zoom Room.” A link will open in another page, and you will be prompted to launch Zoom.
- Once you have launched Zoom, you will be placed into the waiting room. A member of our staff will let you in shortly.
- Click “Join with Computer Audio” so that you can hear the Service and so that others on the call can hear you speaking.
Zoom Etiquette
- Please mute your audio whenever you are not speaking so that the other members of the room can hear the Service clearly. The mute button can be found in the bottom left side of the screen when you run your mouse over it.
- If you would like to speak to the other members of the Zoom room while the Service is going on, or if you encounter an issue and need a member of our support team to assist you, please click the “Chat” button and type your message there.

If you are livestreaming via our Livestreaming Page
All browsers, all devices
- Please enable pop-ups, as our interactive service links will open in a new window. This may cause your audio to be muted briefly while you are filling out the form or completing your donation. The instructions below detail how to set up your specific browser to enable pop-ups.
- If you are viewing the service on a mobile device or tablet, you may be redirected from the YouTube or Facebook app when you click on our interactive service links. This will cause the audio and video to stop, and you will need to switch back to the app on which you’re viewing the Service after completing your form submission or donation in order to continue to watch.

Google Chrome
1. Navigate to www.unitysf.com/livestream.
2. To the left of the web address (URL), click the Lock icon () or the Info icon (
).
3. Click Site Settings to open the site settings for UnitySF.com on your browser.

4. Scroll down to “Javascript.” Click the drop-down box and select “Allow.”

5. Scroll down to “Pop-ups and redirects.” Click the drop-down box and select “Allow.”

6. Scroll down to “Sound.” Click the drop-down box and select “Allow.”

7. Exit the tab and continue browsing as normal.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Navigate to www.unitysf.com/livestream.
2. To the left of the web address (URL), click the Lock icon () or the Info icon (
).
3. Click the left arrow next to the green text that reads, “Connection Secure.”

4. Click on “More Information.”

5. Click on “Permissions.”

6. Locate “Open Pop-up Windows.” Uncheck “Use Default,” and select “Allow.”

7. Locate “Set Cookies.” Uncheck “Use Default,” and seect “Allow.”

8. Exit the window and continue browsing as normal.
Safari
1. Open Safari, and navgate to www.unitysf.com/livestream.
2. In the toolbar at the top of the screen, next to the Apple logo at the far left, click on the word “Safari.” From the drop-down box, select “Preferences.”

3. Navigate to “Websites,” and under the tab that reads, “General,” scroll down to “Pop-up Windows.” Click the drop-down box next to unitysf.com and ensure that it is set to “Allow.”

4. Exit the window and continue browsing as normal.
Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to www.unitysf.com/livestream.
2. Click on the three dots next to the URL bar, and then click “Settings.”

3. On the left hand toolbar, click on “Site Permissions.” Scroll down to “Pop-ups and redirects,” and click on the words.

4. Click on the button that says “Add” next to the word “Allow.” There is no need to toggle the “Block (recommended)” switch, if those are your preferred settings for all other web browsing.

5. Type in “www.unitysf.com” and click “Add.” This will enable popups throughout the Unity San Francisco’s entire web address, not just for the homepage, while also ensuring that popups are blocked for other websites, if those are your current settings.

6. Exit the tab and continue browsing as normal.
