A transformative and supportive community dedicated to deepening one’s spiritual journey
Spiritual direction, as a group, is a monthly gathering of six or so adults who look at how Spirit is showing up in our lives and how to draw closer to the Divine.
It’s different than other kinds of counseling or therapy. First, it assumes that the light within guides each person to their highest truth in any given situation – i.e. it is generally non-directive. Second, you will not be ‘fixed’ by others, but invited to listen more deeply to what God has in Mind for repair or inspiration.
As a member of this group, you will be asked to listen intently, hold space for each other’s exploration, and ask open-ended questions to allow further exploration – within yourself and with the others.
Members agree to commit themselves to six monthly sessions and:
- An honest relationship with the Divine;
- A wholehearted participation in the group process through prayerful listening and response;
- Opening their spiritual journeys to the consideration of others.
Membership will be open for the first two meetings, then closed for the remaining four meetings in order for participants to grow a comfortable, and trusting mutuality for exploring their own spiritual journey within the group.
This group will be offered online only (Zoom). Preregistration is required. Membership for the group is limited to 6 registrants, with a waiting list for the next group.
