Virtual Service Offerings
A message from Rev. Ken Daigle (Updated 10/16)
The live and in-person Services have been going very smoothly, thanks to the staff who have worked hard for months to make this possible. The energy of coming together has been a big lift for the ministers and staff, and attendees report how much they appreciate being pack in the room where it happens!
Our first attempt at a real-time meet and greet worked well enough that we are ready to expand it. You can now meet in the Spiritual Salon at 10:50 (the link is below the livestreaming window on the website, or in the description of the Facebook and YouTube videos) to chat with your friends before Service. Then, during the Service itself, we will have an extended meet and greet with only instrumental music. That way, we can all share a couple of words of greeting. During True Colors, you can join us in the Salon once again for “hospitality” time before moving into our Spiritual Salon, 10 minutes after the Service ends. Our goal is to give you more opportunities to connect in real time on Sunday mornings.
We also have a new stained glass window going in this week! I met with the building architects in person and went over all of the details as we move toward permitting. We will hold a Town Hall Meeting on November 1st so that we can bring you all up to date on the designs. We will also set up some interactive sessions in which you can help us make choices on flooring, wall coverings, paint, and furniture.
See you on Sunday!

Rev. Ken’s Morning Prayer (10/23)
Rev. Ken’s Morning Prayer
“Hello! It is time to pray! And today, I’d like to offer us a prayer of gratitude – gratitude for all that there is. So, as you breathe in this moment, I invite you to get comfortable, to let the chair hold you, to let my words become your words. Holy Spirit, we come together at one with all of the Divine energy that there is. Knowing that we live and move and have our being in that energy, we are so grateful for this opportunity, this week, this life, this present moment on planet Earth, this present moment in our existence. For the needs are many, and the people rushing to answer those needs are great. Every individual rising up today to do the work to heal the planet, to heal our nation, to heal each other, they’re a blessing to each and every one of us. There are so many people striving each day to make the world a better place, and we give thanks for each and every one of them. We have so much to be grateful for, our lives, our homes, our communities, people in it, the resources of this nation, and we know that there is more than enough. We give thanks for the consciousness rising that sees the abundance of the planet, equally distributed, shared with all people, so that everyone has a warm place to sleep and a roof over their head. This is so much to be grateful, and so much yet to achieve, and we give thanks for our abilities and the vision to see it happening. And so it is! And so we allow it to be. Amen.” (10/23)
