Independence Day marks the triumph of freedom over oppression, and it is not, nor has it ever been a one-time occurrence. Every day, in countless ways, we are called to claim our spiritual freedom—freedom from limits imposed by others and the chains we place upon ourselves.

Spiritually, freedom is not just a political state but a profound inner experience. It’s the freedom to choose our thoughts, actions, and reactions. This inner freedom empowers us to break free from limiting beliefs and old patterns that no longer serve us. As we celebrate our national independence, we are reminded to embrace our spiritual freedom, recognizing our power to create the life we desire through conscious choices and alignment with our divine nature.

As our nation wrestles with questions of choice, responsibility, and power, it’s important to remember that no one can take from us what we do not freely give. Just as our founding fathers and mothers had to take a stand, we, too, must stand firm in our values and power, holding our truth to be self-evident. We are all created equal in the eyes of God, endowed with unalienable Rights, including Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, unimpeded by the laws of man.

This Sunday, we will celebrate our freedom and our responsibilities to continue creating a world that works for everyone, with no exceptions and no excuses. Join us and declare your true Independence Day.
