Last Sunday was the first Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the Christmas Season. Yes, it is that time of year! I love this season for its lights, decorations, music, and festivities. Most of all, it reminds us that the lowliest, most insignificant, the most downtrodden, and the youngest can all be the Most High. Metaphysically, the story of Jesus’s birth in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke are beautiful allegories for our own growth in consciousness and Truth. From our own humble beginnings, you and I are the Christ – and in this Advent season, we take the necessary spiritual steps to live into our true nature.
Join us this Sunday as we continue our spiritual journey through the four Sundays of Advent, when we will light candles for Faith, Peace, Love, and Joy!
I behold the Christ that you are,
Rev. Ken
