Our Philosophy:
Discovery Over Dogma
We believe spirituality is a journey of understanding, not a set of rules to memorize. Our goal is to nurture a loving community where every child feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to be themselves.
We create a lightly structured environment where children can:
-
Explore spiritual truths found in many traditions.
-
Play with engaging crafts, stories, and games.
-
Connect with their own inner wisdom and intuition.
What We Explore
Rather than forcing a specific doctrine, we encourage children to discover universal truths that help them navigate life with confidence. We use stories, art, and discussion to explore concepts like:
-
You Are Good: Helping children understand they are inherently worthy and full of “good stuff” (divinity).
-
We Are All Connected: Exploring how our actions affect our friends, our community, and the planet.
-
Thoughts Matter: encouraging children to see how their thoughts and feelings help create their experiences.
-
Quiet Time is Powerful: Introducing simple mindfulness and prayer as ways to listen to their own hearts.
-
Action Counts: Learning that we can make a difference in the world by simply doing our best.
While our lessons are grounded in Unity’s optimistic outlook, we welcome families of all backgrounds and beliefs. We honor the many paths to God and encourage children to find the one that feels true to them.
